Here is a surprising treat! The Town of Duck offers free Tai Chi, Pilates and yoga classes outdoors in Duck Town Park, weather permitting, from April through October. The classes are geared to all levels of practitioners, so beginners are welcome. Bring your own yoga mat or towel. Yoga is held on Monday mornings, Tai Chi is held on Tuesday mornings and Pilates is held on Thursday mornings. Classes start at 7:30 a.m. The season runs from April 6 through October 29. The schedule is subject to change; call the number given for information.

Just choose a surface, pick your glass and put it all together. The average time for creating a mosaic is 45 minutes to an hour and a half, and it will be ready to take with you. This is a relaxing activity for adults, but kids love it too. This studio also offers scheduled classes in stained-glass making and fusing and other art techniques. That Stained Glass Place sells gifts and home décor plus stained glass and art supplies, and they do commissions.
