Nor'Banks Sailing has been renting sailboats on the Currituck Sound of the Outer Banks since 1979. with a well maintained fleet of more than 25 boats including Flying Scots, JY 15's, Big Fish, Hobie Cats and Windrider Trimarans.
Since 1979, Nor'Banks Sailing has been the premier location on the Outer Banks to go sailing! Our steady breezes, warm waters and uncrowded conditions make for some of the best small boat sailing on the East Coast. The Currituck Sound runs from 5-10 feet deep in our sailing area with average winds of 8-15 knots throughout the summer.
