Looking for something to do in Duck? The town of Duck has several fun, family-oriented events in Duck planned for the 2008 summer season. These events take place in the fabulous new soundside Duck Municipal Park. The park has green space and recreational opportunities in the heart of the village, including a soundside boardwalk, walking trails, a gazebo, a pavilion playground and public parking. Entertainment performs from the gazebo stage, and seating for guests is on the lawn. Bring blankets or chairs if you wish. The events include local music at the Town of Duck Summer Music Series, Town of Duck Morning Theater and Music Series, theater from The Lost Colony cast, Children’s Story Time and other to-be-announced happenings. There’s also drop-in, outdoor Tai Chi and Pilates. Don’t miss the Town of Duck Jazz Festival in October. These are outdoor events, and in the case of inclement weather they may be cancelled or rescheduled. All of the events are free.
